In this artwork we decided to take a deep dive in the Mediterranean sea. Made in collaboration with grand collage artist Popeye, we revisit together our mutual memories from Marseille to Corsica. Although the artwork was made using my style of tears, I also decided to make an homage to Popeye’s signature element, the white and grey Photoshop squares. With a composition worked to reflect the motion of waves, as well as the incorporation of sea shells, it almost feels as if we were there once again.
This artwork has been varnished in matte using professional and archival standards. A certificate of authenticity is provided with artwork, and a floating frame can be added at an additional cost. Please contact hello@poetonic.com for framing add-ons.
