運命の赤い糸

€2,900.00

This mixed media artwork is the result of a collaboration with Japanese artist Sou Noaki. I've reassembled his photographs around the theme of interconnectedness, and adding onto it my own elements and aesthetics. The red cord used in the artwork is a reference to the Japanese myth Unmei no Akai Ito - 運命の赤い糸. According to this Japanese myth, this red cord connects individuals who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. It may stretch, tangle, or seem to disappear due to obstacles, distance, or time, but it never breaks.

Sign up for Raw, Real Updates

I’m not here to push you anything. This isn’t some gimmick or a pitch. It’s just an invitation. I write to live, and live to cut and paste the raw world into bits. If that sounds like something you can sit with, I’ll throw it into your inbox once in a while. You’ll get updates from Poetonic, some behind-the-scenes, pieces from the log, and the best of Sniffin Glue—where I’ll show you how to slice up the world and piece it back together, with dark humor and brutal honesty.

Just sign up, and you'll get the good, unfiltered updates. No selling, no hustle, just art that hits harder than an empty wallet.

Thank you!
